We recognize that our sustainability impacts occur throughout our value chain, and focus our work around three long-term objectives – minimize environmental impact, be an ethical forerunner, and create value for all stakeholders. Tieto Evry is convinced that digitalization will enable us to tackle the biggest challenges of our time with regards to people and planet.
The long-term success of the company requires a business model that takes into account sustainability as natural parts of daily business operations.
As a company and corporate citizen, Tieto Evry supports the leading global sustainability principles and complies with the requirements of many nongovernmental organizations (NGOs) and industry standards. These multi-stakeholder initiatives guide the company in its daily work.

POLICIES AND MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS
Our Code of Conduct Policy is based on the UN Global Compact principles and OECD Guidelines for Multinational Enterprises. It serves as the guiding principle for all employees and business partners.
To facilitate the selection of and cooperation with suppliers we have a separate Supplier Code of Conduct Rule, which is based on our Code of Conduct and the UN Global Compact principles, and also requests an Environmental Managements System (EMS) in line with the ISO 14001 standard or equivalent. In addition, we have Code of Conduct related rules for managing material areas, an Anti-corruption Rule and an Environmental Rule.
Our ISO 14001 compliant Environmental Management System (EMS) covers more than 90% of employees.
