Tieto,
Our Sustainability steering group is the highest body in sustainability issues. This group creates recommendations, goals and policies in the sustainability area as well as coordinates, monitors and provides advice to Tieto’s Leadership Team, the President and CEO, and the Board of Directors on sustainable-related issues.
Our Code of Conduct Policy is based on the UN Global Compact principles and OECD Guidelines for Multinational Enterprises. It serves as the guiding principle for all employees and business partners.
To facilitate the selection of and cooperation with suppliers we have a separate Supplier Code of Conduct Rule, which is based on our Code of Conduct and the UN Global Compact principles, and also requests an Environmental Managements System (EMS) in line with the ISO 14001 standard or equivalent. In addition, we have Code of Conduct related rules for managing material areas, an Anti-corruption Rule and an Environmental Rule.
Our ISO 14001 compliant Environmental Management System (EMS) covers more than 90% of employees.
